Forgetting

I look through my window
           out
                    toward Sutro                                                  Tower.
Clouds fade
in
       and
 past,
         cover it grey
                  then
             fade
back
       into the light.



As I read -
               sleep -
                         dream -
                                     wake-                   
                                                 I forget that tower is             there.
